Extended Reading
Home Depot has not announced a company-wide closure for Labor Day. The chain treats the holiday as a high-volume sales day rather than a day off. That strategy aligns with rivals Lowe’s and Ace Hardware, which also stay open with modified hours. For shoppers, the key variable is not whether stores open, but when they close. Local schedules control that answer.
