Look, I know what you’re thinking. “National Pizza Day” is just another one of those made-up corporate holidays designed to make us break our New Year’s resolutions. And you know what? You’re absolutely right. But frankly, if there is any reason to abandon your meal prep and inhale a reckless amount of cheese, Monday, Feb. 9, is it.
I scoured the list of “deals” (some are great, some are insults) so you don’t have to doom-scroll while you’re hungry. Here is the stuff actually worth your time.
7-Eleven is surprisingly the MVP
I usually only go to 7-Eleven for energy drinks at 2 AM, but their deal is kind of unbeatable. If you’re a rewards member (which is free), you can buy one whole pizza and get a second one for $3.
Is it Michelin-star food? Absolutely not. But is it the perfect fuel for a marathon gaming session where you don’t care about self-respect? Yes. It’s cheap, it’s hot, and it’s there.
Pizza Hut is playing the “Nostalgia” card
The Hut is pushing the Big New Yorker for $10. If you grew up in the 90s, seeing that massive, foldable slice just hits different.
Also, they’re doing a thing where if you spend $7.99 in the app, you get a free large pizza on your next order. It’s a bit of a “delayed gratification” trap, but free pizza is free pizza.
Domino’s and Papa John’s: The “Old Reliables”

Domino’s: They’re sticking to their guns with the Mix & Match deal ($6.99 each). It’s boring, but it works. You know exactly what you’re getting, and you won’t be disappointed.

Papa John’s: They’ve got an XL New York Style pie for $11.99. Honestly, not a bad price for that much surface area.
The “Wait, really?” Entry: Chuck E. Cheese
Apparently, Chuck E. Cheese is offering a $5 large pizza if you buy a games pass. I’m not saying you should go there as an adult without kids… but $5 is $5. Just maybe wear a hoodie and don’t make eye contact with the animatronics.
Don’t overthink it. It’s Monday. You’re tired. Cooking is the worst. Just pick a code, order way too much food, and worry about the consequences on Tuesday.
